As an ASID member you will be joining a collegiate network of health professionals dedicated to the understanding and practice of infectious diseases medicine.

ASID membership is a valuable resource for anyone working in or interested in working in infectious diseases. You will gain access to discussions including the highly regarded Ozbug forum, conference archives, abstracts, presentations and the latest research through the Clinical Research Network. Our weekly newsletter The Weekly Dose keeps members up to date on opportunities and events. ASID members can also to apply for ASID career-development scholarships and research awards.

Associate Australian Member

Applies to medical practitioners, scientists and healthcare professionals based in Australia, who are not otherwise considered eligible for full membership or medical graduates undergoing advanced training in Infectious Diseases or Microbiology or other individuals with a keen interest in infectious diseases medicine. Associate members do not have voting rights.

AUD$168 (includes GST for Australian members residing in Australia. Also includes a $30 joining fee).

 

Associate NZ/Overseas Member

Applies to medical practitioners, scientists and healthcare professionals based in New Zealand or overseas, who are not otherwise considered eligible for full membership or medical graduates undergoing advanced training in Infectious Diseases or Microbiology or other individuals with a keen interest in infectious diseases medicine. Associate members do not have voting rights.

AUD$145 (includes a $30 joining fee).

Full Australian Member

Applies to medical practitioners, scientists and healthcare professionals based in Australia, who have received appropriate post-graduate training and qualifications in infectious diseases medicine, microbiology or related fields, having regard to his/her contributions to the field of infectious diseases as represented by publications or as described by nominators, to further the aims of the Society. Full members have voting rights.

AUD$393 (includes GST for Australian members residing in Australia. Also includes a one off $30 fee).

 

Full NZ/Overseas Member

Applies to medical practitioners, scientists and healthcare professionals based in New Zealand or overseas, who have received appropriate post-graduate training and qualifications in infectious diseases medicine, microbiology or related fields, having regard to his/her contributions to the field of infectious diseases as represented by publications or as described by nominators, to further the aims of the Society. Full members have voting rights.

AUD$345 (includes a $30 joining fee).

Note: Life members receive complimentary membership.
Retired Australian and NZ/Overseas members pay AUD$40 and AUD$35 per annum respectively.
