ASID President Professor Joseph Doyle begins term

At the 2024 ASID Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday 8 March in Wellington New Zealand, Professor Doyle said he was honoured to begin his tenure as President of the peak professional body for infectious diseases and clinical microbiology in Australasia.

“ASID brings together the experts to address the infectious diseases challenges of today and the future. Our Annual Scientific Meeting demonstrates the amazing breadth of advocacy, education and research conducted by our members.”

The Board and Council thanked outgoing President Professor Katie Flanagan for her tireless and dedicated work as the ASID President over the past two years.
